We are not sure of the exact date, but ideas were brewing through our heads when suddenly it clicked. How about casino themed children’s clothes? Or just something to represent good luck? Why? Well, since having a newborn I wanted to dress my little one with something cute for her first trip to Atlantic City. It was the summer and we knew we would be spending a lot of time outdoors. Tanya had just gotten back from Las Vegas and she herself was looking for something cute for her soon to be niece. We searched for a few days on the Internet but could not find anything catchy that we were pleased with. What’s better than cute casino themed clothing?
Friends from high school, Theresa and Tanya are now Casino Baby LLC, officially started in September 2008 and going strong.
Tanya Da Silva is married to Augie and has two little boys, Luke, seven, and John, six. She graduated with honors in Teaching with a B.A. from Montclair State University, holds a Masters Degree in Administration, and taught for five years. Tanya wanted to get back into the workforce after being a stay at home mom for a few years and it was here at Casino Baby where she began her new career.
Theresa Toth Hosseiny welcomed her first child, Isabella, in April 2008 and has been married for six years. Theresa is a graduate of The Culinary Institute of America with a Culinary Arts Degree. A few years in food and a few years on Wall Street brought her to become a successful Finance Recruiter.
So with all their experiences and hard work, they realized a dream and are making it happen while working more hours than they could have ever imagined.

About our Designer
Jen Hoffmann was the graphic designer of the Casino Baby designs. She had 12 years of extremely diverse experience in this type of work, and had done it both freelance and full time at various times. Her designs have included: logos; t-shirt designs; presentations, brochures and much more.
Jen had known Theresa and her family since 1981 and when approached by Theresa and Tanya it was an ideal opportunity to work on the Casino Baby project. Through Theresa and Tanya’s vision, Jen’s interpretation of their concepts, numerous faxes, emails, modifications, and conversations – the Casino Baby designs were born.
We are sad to announce the passing of our beloved friend. On April 21, 2009 Jen lost her long battle with breast cancer.
She will be missed deeply and her creative designs will live on.
